Established in 2009, the ARA Endowment Fund embodies this commitment. Our vision is to grow the Fund’s balance to $10 million, a milestone that will enable us to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for charitable causes across Australia. Achieving this dream will cement the ARA Group’s legacy of enduring support for the Australian community.
Each year, 100% of the annual earnings from the ARA Endowment Fund are donated to registered Australian charities. This commitment has allowed us to support initiatives that create a significant positive impact, particularly within Indigenous communities. Currently, the ARA Endowment Fund proudly supports the following three Foundations:
The GO Foundation: Dedicated to empowering Indigenous youth through education into the workforce. By providing scholarships and mentoring, the GO Foundation helps young Indigenous Australians, fostering future leaders who can drive positive change within their communities.
The Indigenous Literacy Foundation: Through publishing books in first languages and literacy programs, this Foundation works to bridge the educational gap, promoting lifelong learning and opportunities for Indigenous children, with the focus on improving literacy rates within remote Indigenous communities.
The David Lynch Foundation: Known for its transformative initiatives that promote mental well-being, including programs specifically designed for Indigenous Australians. The Foundation’s efforts contribute to creating healthier, more resilient communities by addressing mental health challenges.
